Gouache Equipment
What Equipment do you need?
Paints
Daler-Rowney Colours offer some exciting
prospects and their brilliance is highly suited to graphic
reproduction as well as fine art painting techniques.
There is so much choice on the market for
beginners that it is best to start with a basic
palette
Acrylic Glaze Medium
Can be used with gouache to render it water
resistant and for over painting without pick-up
Palettes
China saucers, five-well china slant palettes,
plastic palettes
Brushes, Pens and Plastic Knives
Brushes can be expensive but it is worth having
one or two really good sable brushes backed by a range of less
expensive ox hair, squirrel hair and hog bristle
